PH61 are a professional, active, two-ways near-field monitors based on top-class aluminum 6.5" PURIFI woofer, developed for ultra-accurate monitoring applications, using amplitude-frequency linearization technology proprietary to DMAX Audio.

The standard amplifier has only an analog balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA input.

You can also order PH61 with Hypex FA122 amplifier. Hypex amplifier has analog balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, as well as digital AES (XLR), S/PDIF (RCA) inputs and an optical input. Also, when using the Hypex amplifier, you can use some functions of the Hypex Filter Design program to change the amplifier settings - input selection, sensitivity, energy saving mode, and also program the Master EQ (can be used as room correction EQ).

Below you will find typical results for amplitude-frequency, minimum phase,
THD and impulse response. (The amplitude-frequency response is shown
without smoothing in a 10db window.)

CONSTRUCTION

The loudspeaker enclosures are made of
15mm oak veneer MDF coated with natural oil.
