DMAX Audio was originally a software company, entering the market with the DMAX Audio Mastering Plugins suite in 2012.

Unfortunately, this project has now been discontinued and is no longer supported. But you may download the mastering plugin bundle and use it "as is" for free.

DMAX

DMAX

DMAX is an entirely new type of peak limiter. It is based on a unique, proprietary algorithm and can be used as a loudness maximizer of complex signals like drums or percussion. For processing the signal, DMAX does not use gain reduction, therefore it fully retains the stereo image and original drum transients. Its yields a completely different sound to the usual maximizers.

DLIM

DLIM

DLIM is a brickwall loudness maximizer based on superfast gain reduction. It has a very musical, delicate sound. There are several working modes with different modulation waveforms which allow to retain more of the original low frequencies in the mix. It is optimized for heavy limiting of hard music (up to -8/-7dB total RMS).

DEQ Type A

DEQ type A

This is a mastering quality, linear-phase, 10-band graphic EQ based on phase shifts. Extremely transparent with a unique 'sharp' sound, especially at low frequencies. It perfectly retains drum and percussion transients and is ideal for complex audio signal equalization.

DSE

DSE

DSE is a stereo enhancer based on S-channel equalization. It is intended for changing the stereo imaging of the mix. The ultra-low-frequency ULF-adding feature allows an additional stereo enhancing effect.
